Slips & trips whilst visiting premises
Injuries suffered whilst you are a visitor to private premises, such as a Supermarket, Department Store or Shop, are covered by the Occupiers Liability Act 1957.
Under section 2 of this Act the occupier of the premises has to take reasonable care to see that you are safe whilst you are on the premises for the purpose of
which you were invited to be there.
If an occupier has failed in this duty by either doing or failing to do something that would have avoided the accident that occurred, you may have a right to claim
compensation for the injuries you have suffered as a result.
These types of claims can be difficult however, in most cases, our legal team are able to carryout the initial investigations on a no win-no fee basis.
This means that, if after making the initial enquiries with the responsible party we take the view that you do not have a successful case, we will simply inform you of
this and the reasons why, and not charge you for the work we have done.
In the event that your claim is successful then we will recover the costs for the work we have done from the responsible party, in addition to the compensation you receive.
You will therefore receive 100% of your compensation, with no deductions.
